Hello,

I am planning to go with GRC Certification. My prior attempt was failed. What I observe most of the questions are from Conceptual part which I was unclear whether it was right or wrong.

Can anyone help with the GRC CIS preparation material/videos which will help to understand the concepts?

Hello @pankajsalpe ,

To prepare for the GRC CIS (Certified Implementation Specialist) exam, consider the following resources and information:

Regarding your specific questions:

  1. Questions to ask customers before starting implementation:
      • What are your organization's specific GRC requirements and goals?
      • Which regulatory frameworks or standards do you need to comply with?
      • What is your current GRC process, and what challenges are you facing?
      • Who are the key stakeholders involved in the GRC processes?
      • What is your desired timeline for implementation?
  1. Three possibilities for which the Risk manager may want to access the Entity Type or Entity:
      • To assess risks associated with specific entities
      • To review compliance status of entities
      • To assign controls or mitigation strategies to entities
  1. Important fields on the Authority Document form:
  • Name: The title of the authority document
  • Type: The category of the authority document (e.g., regulation, policy, standard)
  • Description: A brief explanation of the document's purpose
  • Source: The origin or issuing body of the document
  • Effective date: When the document becomes applicable
  • Version: The current version of the document
  • Status: The current state of the document (e.g., draft, active, retired)[6]

Wishing you the best of luck on your GRC certification journey!
