Compliance Case - "Failed to Fetch email viewer record" error when creating new email from workspace

Greetings,

 

I'm currently getting an error when trying to create a new email from the "Emails" related list in the Compliance Workspace.

 

I am able to view the Emails tab and the list of emails sent, but when I click "New" I receive this error and a blank white page.

I have recreated this in 3 instances, so I feel like there is a setting or something that I am unaware of.  I have verified the client email attribute is set to true on the table, but I am not sure what else to check.

You can compose emails from a particular case/Request like below, open the case:
