Control monitoring with custom third party application

I'm new to ServiceNow. We are exploring avenues to integrate our custom third-party application to do controls monitoring for cloud assets with our GRC application. For Control Indicator templates, in the 'Method Tab',  I'm able to see only - Manual, Basic and Script option. Can I use the 'Script' option to integrate with a third party control monitoring application?

In a video explaining - GRC control monitoring with third party Security operations applications like Qualys, I was able to see another option - 'Configuration Tests' option in the Method tab which I am not able to see in my set up. In case, I want to integrate with our custom third party application, how can I go about accomplishing it?

what you want to bring in from third  party application?

Because if you want to monitor control not in ServiceNow but in the third -party, then there is no point configuring Indicators for those controls by using indicator templates.

You can get these controls which are in monitor state to third-party application and monitor there.

Thanks for the reply.  We want to perform assessment in a third party application for the GRC controls being configured and monitored in ServiceNow. Very similar to the vulnerability assessment being done by Qualys. I want to know how Qualys or any pointers to how such an integration can be done so that we can follow the same
