Is there any license used if we assign sn_grc.business_user role to any user in User table?

I have 2 questions, both are related to Advanced Audit application.

1. We have 18K Suppliers who are part of User Table and need to work on Issues and provide evidence during Audit Execution. We are planning to give sn_grc.business_user role to all the Suppliers. Do we need to purchase any type of IRM license for this? 

2. What is the difference between IRM Lite Operator and IRL Operator license? What all functionalities\modules are accessible with IRM Lite Operator license. Is there a list that can be shared?

The licensing rule for IRM is pretty clear "An IRM User is any User with the right to access one or more of the Integrated Risk Management Applications and may perform any or all functions within the Integrated Risk
Management Applications."

There are other type of roles for "Requesters" who do not need a license but working on issues may not be part of those roles... 

The Lite Operator license is still in trial period so not available. 

As you can see, you should get in touch with your SN rep to discuss those two points. If in doubt whether you are being compliant or not, get a written confirmation that it is OK as per your order form / licensing agreement.

Thanks Sebastien. I will check with the SN rep. Our customer has purchased ServiceNow IRM Lite operator license and hence I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about it. Thanks again

The Lite Operator license users doesnot have access to indicator Tasks , only bussiness users can use indicator Tasks. Lite Operator license users can have access to control Attestations.

This doesn't means that Lite Operator license users are barred completely , they can access the indicator tasks too but only limited users can have this.

Again it's best to confirm with the ServiceNow Account Executive allocated to your client/customer/stakeholder to confirm on how many Licenses do they have as Lite Operator and Business users.

@Sebastien Fix  Operator Lite License is not in trial Period !! We have 2 customers who has been using this License.
