you can use schema map functionality to see extended, base tables related to GRC scoped app.

I create and maintain my own per release and have done so since scoped apps were first released. 

This provides me with the understanding and insight into the backend architecture, of which most is largely undocumented. Some very sneaky stuff which is really nice comes out and I can take advantage.

e.g. who knows about Indicator batching? 

I find a new table, and then code search and see where it is used.. 

If you are talking about low level data model/ERD, I don't think you will find a trustworthy source who is willing to give it up for free 🙂
