Entities are not being tied to Entity Class, despite being defined at the Entity Filter level

Hi Community,

I noticed a weird thing with Entity Scoping (perhaps it's just me or it's a SN nuance)...

1. I created an Entity Class called 'SOX Infrastructure' 

2. I created an Entity Type called 'SOX Applications' and in the 'Entity Filter', I build my own conditions and set the conditions to associate the entities to the 'Entity Class' as defined in #1

However, after the entities are generated, I noticed that none of them are being tied to the Entity Class I defined in #1 above. Is that normal? 

PS: I am being a bit lazy and haven't actually checked this out in my PDI so apologies in advance.
