HI Team,

I was looking for options to change visibility of "Add Related asset" button which is a declarative related item in BCM workspace on Plan Asset/ Scope tab in Plan.

Visibility changes - Need to show this button only to BCM Admins and BCM Managers if Plan is Business continuity type.

Please help me here if anyone has an idea.

Thank you.

Hi,

The "Add Related Asset" button is a Declarative Action Assignment on the Plan Asset [sn_bcp_plan_asset] table. To control its visibility, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the Declarative Action Assignment record in advanced view using the link below:
    https://<your-instance>.service-now.com/sys_declarative_action_assignment.do?sys_id=f4f54c0643820210ecf16df84db8f2ab&sysparm_view=advanced
  2. In the Condition section, set the Record Condition: Plan. Type = Continuity plan.
  3. In the Required user role names field, add the BCM Admin and BCM Manager roles.

It will restrict the visibility of the button to only BCM Admins and BCM Managers when the Plan is of the "Business Continuity" type.
