Hi Experts,
Need your assistance regarding "Import Policy Text" of Compliance Workspace.
Issue : Whenever importing policy .docx file , I see some issues.
1 - Header and footer are getting overlapped.
2 - If there is any data in table form, that is not getting imported in same format.
& other formatting issue.
Any one worked on this has faced these challenges? Any suggestions to fix?

Hi @DKSINGH ,
This is just not an issue with Policy text but overall platform too while importing .docx file 😕
What i follow is :
-
Preparation:
- Images: Save them from the Word document.
- Text:
- Remove bullets and numbering.
- Copy and paste into Notepad (to eliminate hidden formatting).
- Copy from Notepad.
-
Import into ServiceNow:
- Paste the plain text.
- Re-add numbering within ServiceNow.
- Import images one by one and insert them at the right spots.
-
Additional Formatting (within ServiceNow):
- Use Shift+Enter for new lines without bullets/numbers.
- Indent and set subpoints (a, b, c) manually.

Clear your docx file from headers and footers - the change to HTML format creates one long document without page breaks - no headers and footers needed. If you need a document header - create it at the beginning of the text within the document.
I suggest to check the TinyMRE documentation on the web regarding formatting options. Even though there is no way to import standard bullet points possible for me. Only disc-bullet points are imported properly.
There are a number of more restrictions, but as said it is in the documentation of TinyMRE or in the product documentation pages
