There are many documents that need to be requested from each vendor. To enable this, document request templates need to be designed. I am familiar with the fact that there is a specific question structure that needs to be followed when designing document requests templates.
I have the following questions:
1. Is it recommended to request for only one document per document request template?
2. What are pros and cons of including several documents in one template?
3. How do you include the specific structure for several documents in one document request template?
I'm new to this area - thank you for your support in advance!

When designing document request templates for Third-party Risk Management in ServiceNow, here are some key considerations:
Single Document per Template:
- Recommendation: It is generally recommended to request one document per template for clarity and easier tracking.
- Pros: Easier to manage, track, and follow up on individual documents. Reduces confusion for vendors.
- Cons: Could result in more templates to manage, which might be cumbersome for larger requests.
Multiple Documents in One Template:
- Pros: Fewer templates to manage, which can simplify the request process.
- Cons: Harder to track which documents have been received, and may lead to confusion if vendors are unsure which documents are being requested.
Including Specific Structure for Multiple Documents:
- Approach: Clearly define each document's requirements within the template, using distinct sections or questions for each document.
- Structure: Ensure that each document request is clearly labeled and provides specific instructions to avoid any confusion.
