There is a requirement to configure heatmap for advanced risk to add to dashboard. I am relatively new to GRC module.
I saw this ServiceNow doc - https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/xanadu-governance-risk-compliance/page/product/grc-risk/task/... but unable to add the widgets in the new Platform Analytics type dashboard as there is no option to add them there. I have also enabled the properties related to it.
Need help to configure this? and if its not available OOB, please let me know the steps to create (eg: what data source/table to select etc). May I know which table is used to create heatmap for advanced risk?

@RehaS what type of Platform Analytics dashboard are you configuring? The OOTB Advanced Risk Assessment heat map is available in Dashboards built via UI Builder. I would suggest using the OOTB Operational Risk Management dashboard in Platform Analytics as an example of how to set up the Risk heatmap component.
Make sure you have set up an ARA methodology first to have the required configuration available

Hi @Connor Levien , thank you for your response.
If I need to create a new dashboard (in Platform Analytics of inline editor type) and create a heatmap there for advanced risk assessment, then what would be the steps? Can we bring in the heatmap from operational risk management dashboard to the new dashboard? I am very new to UI Builder and GRC risk module, Thanks in advance!

@RehaS you have to use the type Technical editor to bring the risk heatmap in. The risk heatmap is a different component than the standard heatmap and has a lot more capability but hasnt been configured to be useable in the in line editor type dashboards. You will have to use the Technical editor type dashboard to use it but you can take a copy of the Operational Risk Management Dashboard and make the changes you require.
I would also suggest raising this as an idea on the idea portal to have the risk heatmap useable on the inline editor dashboard as the product team is always after customer feedback

Hi @Connor Levien ,
I brought the Risk Heatmap into my scope using Insert and Stay. Could you please guide me on how to modify the table configuration? Instead of using the sn_risk_risk table, I want it to use the sn_risk_definition table. Is that possible?
Also, when I tried creating a Data Resource, I encountered an error. I followed the same configuration as the out-of-the-box Risk Heatmap Data Resource, only replacing sn_risk_risk with sn_risk_definition. I replicated all the steps, including creating a new Script Include and keeping the configuration the same.
I also tested calling the Script Include from a background script, and it works correctly there. If you could guide me on what I might be missing or doing wrong, I would really appreciate it.
