Third Party Risk - Due Diligence Request - Vancouver Release

Hi,

The Vancouver release of TPRM provides a catalog item that can be used to submit a due diligence request for a number of scenarios. My question is related to option to onboard a new engagement.

Per ServiceNow documentation, we are informed the following:

Based on this, I thought it would be possible to submit a request for adding a third party only, and not have to provide any engagement details.

When I tried this, it looks like although I can choose third party not listed, I am still required to provide an engagement. Out of box, is there a self service due diligence request which allows the onboarding of a third party without needing to providing engagement details? Please advise, maybe I missed something?

Thanks.

Hi @VM7 ,

Why we have the Record Producer of "Request third-party risk due diligence" from ServiceNow is due to organization assesses the risk associated with doing business with third parties, it performs due diligence for any engagement with a third party.

So Unfortunately, there is no OOTB self service due diligence request which allows the onboarding of a third party without needing to providing engagement details.
