What is the difference between Indicators and Metrics under the IRM in Risk Workspace

Dear Experts,

I would like to ask about what is the difference between the use of indicators and metrics for KRI and KCI. There are both the same thing or there is a significant difference use for them? Are they relatable to each other? Or which one is the better one to be used out of this two? As in I am quite confused for the precense of indicators when we already have the metric definition workflow.

Thanks for the sharing, but when I use the Risk Indicators, why cant I select other source table here? It seems to be an error when i want to specify supporting data.

As I can check in my PDI, I am able to select the source table from the risk indicator template. Can you please confirm which table you are trying to search.

I wanted to link to the sn_advanced_risk_event table, but it does not show anything in the drop-down selection, and I would like to confirm this as metrics does not help to generate issue when the threshold is breached right? Only the risk indicators can generate issue when the results are failed right?
