What is the difference between Indicators and Metrics under the IRM in Risk Workspace

Dear Experts,

I would like to ask about what is the difference between the use of indicators and metrics for KRI and KCI. There are both the same thing or there is a significant difference use for them? Are they relatable to each other? Or which one is the better one to be used out of this two? As in I am quite confused for the precense of indicators when we already have the metric definition workflow.

What role is needed for specifying supporting data under risk indicator? Cause I tried with the system admin user it can be done but my risk user cannot input other tables like the risk event source table. It show error when I search for it.
