I. AI Agents: Growth Conversation Planning

Persona: Managers

Dependency: Now Assist for HRSD

In the Agentic AI space, two agents are being released specifically to assist managers in planning growth conversations with their employees.

  1. The first agent is the conversation management agent, which collects employee details, checks for upcoming conversations(if any), and schedules new conversations by finding common time slots, including those in the Outlook calendar.
  2. The second agent is the employee data summarization agent, which compiles and summarizes employee’s activities, such as skills, learning, feedback, growth plans, journeys, mentoring activities, and more. It also suggests talking points for the conversation and adds them to the conversation agenda. This agent is triggered subsequently after the first agent, subject to the initial request message.

Manager can trigger these agent by initiating conversation with Now Assist Virtual Agent chat on employee portal. These agents aim to streamline the process of managing and conducting growth conversations, making it easier for managers to engage with their employees effectively.

II. Now Assist for HR- Persona Assistant

Persona: Managers

Dependency: Now Assist for HRSD

This new capability allows managers and leaders to quickly generate a concise summary of an employee's profile and their development journey. It includes key profile details, learning and skill progress, current goals and growth plans, activities in the mentoring program, and any active journeys.

All this information is provided on demand through natural language interaction on the VA, so managers don't need to search through multiple dashboards or tools. Once the summary is available, managers can have a conversational engagement via virtual agent for follow-up questions.

V. Skill Feedback in Manager Hub

Persona: Managers

Dependency: Employee Center Pro and Skills Plugin

Skill Feedback is the new feature as part of Talent Development May 25 release. In this feature, managers can request skill feedback from employees' collaborators. VI. Skill Harmonization- Dynamic Skills Pipeline

Persona: Skill Admin

Dependency: Skills plugin and Credly App license

Skills Harmonization - Dynamic Skills Pipeline is a new feature that ensures that new skills from third-party systems are easily synchronised with the ServiceNow skills database. In this release, the aim is to create a more automated pipeline for the skills admin. This allows the skills admin to automatically receive new foreign skills from third-party integrations.

While this is currently done out of box only in the context of the Credly app, it can be extended to other app/system. Since we have built the infrastructure around it, you can customize and do small implementation work to maintain the same setup for pipelines from different third-party sources they choose.

VII. Credly badges in skill activity insight

Persona: Managers

Dependency: Skills plugin and Credly App license

As part of the May 25 store release, once the Credly badge is issued to the employee and the data is synced, the skills linked to the badge will be added to the employee’s profile if they are not already present. Additionally, for validating employee skills, the Credly badge is displayed in the skill validation flow within Skills Activity Insight. This helps the manager understand the activities completed related to the skill, aiding in the validation process.
