Dear ServiceNow Community Friends

Happy Ganesh Chathurthi to you all

I am trying to create an Inbound Email action, to create Incident Automatically

I tried with my personal gmail account, did settings like

Settings -> All -> Forwarding and POP/IMAP -> Enable POP for all mail etc.

Also Enabled 2-Step verification, created App & its password

In Servicenow: All -> Email Account -> Configured for POP, Port, Authentication Password, user, password etc.

When I sent email from gmail to dev282669@servicenowdevelopers.com

But Incident is not getting created

Kindly help me with basic steps (Like a document or video etc.), which can be easily followed

Thanks much for your kind help

Check the instance email logs to make sure the email has actually been received into your instance.

If it hasn't then follow the documentation to turn on email receiving.

If it has then check the logs of the email and make sure your inbound action tried to process it

If it tried and failed then the issue is with your inbound action script

If it skipped your inbound action then your inbound action conditions were not met or there is an inbound action that processed it and told it to stop processing any other inbound actions after it
