For an CI there was an Asset record linked and some how the asset records are deleted long back when they are not managing it and how we need to link the existing CI again to Asset.
When we checked the deleted records, there are no asset records as it got deleted more than 5 years ago.
Hence to fix this issue if we cannot retrieve the deleted records, can we create asset record for existing CI, as when i tried in lower instance ,it has shown error ie duplicate entry record and didn't allowed to submit.
Please suggest how to get this fixed.
