Hi all,
I have a situation, where many old Access Points (APs) are not in use anymore, but they are physically installed in the office ceiling. They are "In use" in ServiceNow, but they whould not be. I cannot put them as retired, since I do not have a proper substatus for them today.
Is there any best practice to follow on this case? If is the case to add new options in state and substate, do you sugest some option?
Thanks a lot in advance!

From a CI perspective they may no longer be operational or used, but from an asset perspective they are are still considered In Use as long as they are physically installed even if they are not powered on or being used.
Best practice would be to uninstall them and disposed of them properly. Then they can be officially retired.
