Custom fields on Hardware table are showing with backend name on form but not showing in dictionary

Hi,

We have a custom field Asset ID (u_number). It is showing on the form with u_number instead of Asset ID and when I click on configure dictionary it is showing as record not found. Can anyone please help with the issue how to fix the issue and import the field again. I tried importing again via update set and xml but still the field is not importing.

Hello @MaradaniR

It's because the "Labels" for the fields have been deleted. You can go to "sys_documentation" table to create labels for these fields or import the labels for these fields from other instance. This happens when the table has over 40+ columns with max length.

Hi @Shivalika

Thank you for the response.

I have imported the labels in sys_documentation table, but now the challenge is I don't see that field in dictionary. when I click on configure dictionary for that field it shows as "Record not found". I tried to import the field in sys_dictionary table but is not importing and shows the same error "Record not found".

Hello @MaradaniR

Did you also import the dictionary records ?
