We had a MS HoloLens 2 discovered as a new model on our network a few days ago. It's showing as a Personal device in our inTune, because it was not domain joined....so we can only guess that someone logged into their Microsoft 365 account app(s), which is the only other way devices will be picked up by our inTune.
I've looked at all Model Categories and nothing more granular jumps out at me as a better option other than the default Workstation that HAM Pro assigned it.
Has anyone else dealt with augmented reality headsets/similar, and what Model Category did you select to have them registered under?
End goal: we are setting up goalposts so that personal devices are not discovered, and asset records are not created for those non-corporate devices.
