How to Add new Model Category to Hardware Resource Category

PC Hardware are not getting marked Exclude from HAM Feature as false since they are not opted in Hardware Resource Category Table . We don't have a New Button in this table .  End User Computer has cmdb_ci_computer class mapped to It.

Should we run a fix script to update all PC Hardware.

I am also looking for the answer to this. Cannot find any documentation, just forum posts that don't seem to have the right answers.

You can update the Parent on the model category.

Once you make the change, you do need to wait 24 hours for a scheduled job to run and make the changes.  Unfortunately there is no reference to what job you are waiting to have run.
