I am looking for the recommended approach in IT Asset Management / HAM with Procurement, specifically around late model selection.
Use case:
- Users order generic catalog items, e.g.: Monitor 25” , or Monitor 27”
- The exact model (Dell/HP/etc.) is not known at request time and only decided later during the fulfilment/procurement task .
Is there an OOTB (or recommended) way to support late-binding model selection with Source Request?Any advice, configuration patterns, or lessons learned would be greatly appreciated.
