Our Asset team is attempting to change the status of some hardware assets from “pending disposal” to “disposed”. We have made several attempts in test and none have worked. Need to confirm which table we should be using and what might be blocking us from making these updates.
We did not enable Hardware Asset Workspace. So, we need help on the Classic UI.

Hi @Rajini2
When an asset is set to dispose, it will go back to inventory, which is then checked if it can be reused or some of its parts can be reused to enhance its life. Then after its is disposed if found not more usable.

The state should be changed to RETIRED only then you will get an substate option of DISPOSED.
