Purpose of "Legal Hold" in Hardware Asset Management and where we can find it in ServiceNow?

Sometimes organizations will be required to store some assets and/or records about those assets for a longer period of time (compared to all other assets which follow the usual data archival or retention period) due to some legal reasons (E.g. due to a lawsuit involving the organization).  'Legal hold' is used to indicate that. The new CSDM lifecycle fields can be leveraged for this purpose (i.e. 'Lifecycle stage' and 'Lifecycle stage status'). For 'Lifecycle stage'=Inventory, there is a 'Lifecycle stage status' value named 'Legal hold'.
