Models will be configured so that virtual devices do not create assets in the AMDB. This will be done by setting the field "Asset Tracking Strategy" to "Do Not Create Assets" for all models that are identified as virtual models on the hardware model table.
I am not able to navigate this, as I am new to HAM/SAM module.
Provide me solution.

Hey @chaitanyape,
Where to Find It
1.Navigate to Product Catalog → All Models (or search "cmdb_model" in the filter)
2.Find your virtual model (or search for "Virtual" in the Display name)
3.Open the model record
4.Look for the field Asset tracking strategy
What to Set It To
Change the value to "Do Not Create Assets" .
ServiceNow will stop automatically creating hardware asset records whenever a CI using that model is discovered or created

Hi @chaitanyape,
How are the CIs / assets created?
Discovery is driving the asset creation via the model category, not via the model record.
Hope this helps!
