Facing issue with the following, please suggest.
Business requirement -
1. Once a transfer order is placed using 'Hardware asset refresh order', a parallel approval should trigger.
2. If the approval is approved, 'Assignment group' should be auto populated in transfer order line tasks.
3. If approval is rejected, previous transfer order should get cancelled and again 'Source request' catalog task should trigger for the assignee to again place a transfer order from 'source_request' ui page.
4. Untill parallel approval is approved, previous transfer order should get cancelled and again 'Source request' catalog task should trigger.
Approach followed for above -
1. Cloned the asset refresh flow designer
2. Added activities after 7 line
3. In the 'Call a workflow' action, I am calling OOTB 'source request' workflow
4. In update record, I am updating transfer order, transfer order line to stage cancelled and transfer order line task to closed incomplete
5. In requested item update record action, updating 'Sourced' field to false, 'Quantity sourced' to 0.
The activities seen in this screenshot should be applied within 'Do the following.....untill' action but because this approach is not working have not done that yet.
Problem statement -
1. Till 'call a workflow' the flow is triggering, everything is getting updated, transfer order is placed using 'Source request' catalog task and OOTB ui page ‘Source_request’ and a parallel approval also triggers.
2. Once the approval is rejected, and ‘call a workflow’ activity triggers, the ‘Source request’ catalog task is opened again.
3. The assignee clicks on 'Source request' UI action on ‘Source request’ catalog task, the page is blank. The page appears without transfer button. Please refer screenshot below –
Question-
- Is there any way of implementing the requirement other than the above approach? Please suggest.
- Is there any way of rolling back functionality in flow designer like that of workflow activity?
- Please suggest if there is any miss or the reason why this ‘source request’ UI page is showing blank page.
