Hello Community!
I have a client who would like to remove the remnants of the Connectiv application. Has anyone dealt with removing the UI-only elements, as well as deactivating the BRs and Script Includes that come with this app?
Thanks

Yes my friend, this comes up quite a bit with Connectiv.
Short to the point answer: Connectiv isn’t really designed to be fully “uninstalled,” so what most customers end up doing is neutralizing it rather than trying to remove every artifact.
In practice:
UI elements can usually be hidden by adjusting UI Action conditions, removing related links, or updating Workspace components in UI Builder if they’re showing there.
Business Rules and Script Includes delivered with Connectiv are often OOTB and protected, so deleting them isn’t supported. For the ones that aren’t protected, you can deactivate them. For protected ones, the safest approach is to ensure they never execute (for example, via role checks or conditions).
Removing Connectiv-specific roles from all users is key. Once no one has the roles, most of the UI and logic effectively becomes dormant.
Before disabling anything, it’s a good idea to check where those BRs or Script Includes are referenced, since some pieces may be shared or indirectly used elsewhere.
Most customers aim for:
No Connectiv UI visible
No Connectiv logic running
No user access to Connectiv features
Thats usually achievable without trying to hard-delete OOTB records.
