Where are the actual HW and SW Contracts Stored?

When we implement HAM and SAMp can we start the actual signature contracts within ServiceNow?  Do we integrate with Docusign?  Do we keep contracts in another system and relate from our HW and SW Assets?  Recommendations and guidance appreciated

contracts are stored in ast_contract table. This Table is associated to both hardware and software asset management
