Learn how to tailor the Manager Hub experience for your organization with easy, out-of-box configuration frameworks. In this post, we'll explain you to configure content and data for the Manager library page.
Manager Library content
In the Manager library tab of Manager Hub, people leaders can find curated resources for managers that help them in their role as a leader and that they need to support their team. As an organization, you can use this provide a starting point for surfacing the content, resources, systems, and tools that you have for managers, whether you are embedding content on the page or providing contextual communication and links out to other pages and systems.
Manager Hub provides an ability to the sn_mh.content_manager to configure the content on library page, so that managers can explore curated content, giving them plethora of resources for team development.
There are different types of resources which can be configured on the page like banner, video, quick-link, knowledge base article, requests, events, etc. To configure content on library page user must have sn_mh.content_manager role assigned to them.
Steps to configure portal and styled content:
- To create or edit portal & styled content you can follow the following guide - Create or edit portal and styled content
- You can also create content by directly going to Content Publishing -> Content Categories -> Portal
- Here you can create or edit any type of portal content.
- Select appropriate content type and accordingly different form fields will be displayed.
Publish portal content:
To publish portal content, we have two options –
Option 1: Scheduled Content
- To schedule the content you can follow the following guide - Preview and publish your content.
- The portal content form has a related list scheduled content.
- Create a new schedule as shown in the below image.
- Select appropriate widget on the sn_mh_manager_resources page.
Option 2: Campaign
- You can create a grouped campaign which will publish all the content in it at a defined time.
- To create a campaign from scratch follow the following guide - Create a campaign
- You can also edit the existing campaign “Manager library” and add the newly created content.
- Click on edit button on campaign page, this will enable editing on the campaign.
- Add appropriate content to existing campaign bundles or create new campaign bundle.
- You can preview it and publish.
Steps to configure quick link:
You can configure quick links to modify or create content like the Helpful resources below:
To create a quick link you can follow the following guide - Create a quick link.
To display the newly created quick link on library page you can edit the quick link widget instance options.
- On the Library page, press and hold the control key, right-click the Quick links widget, and then select Instance Options.
- Configure the instance options by following this guide - Modify the Quick links widget display
- If above option doesn’t work, open the page designer, and configure quick links widget from there.
- Follow the same steps as above to configure widget options.
