Dear all,

I am trying to disable the search from the pages of employee center.
Long story short, I tried the following solution.

Namely I comment the highlight

https://www.servicenow.com/community/hrsd-forum/how-to-remove-search-box-from-employee-service-cente...

After this, I am getting the following error.
I tried to uncomment this as well but the error persist.

Could you please help me recover this?

there might be some dependency in server side and client side even though you comment it from HTML

did you check that?

Hi Ankur,
Thanks you for the reply. I tried comment/uncomment and neither one of them worked.
I didn't recognize kind of dependency.

But I found that after my change which was simple enough, the following Restricted Caller Access Privileges record was in Status = Invalidated. When I turned it to Allowed the issue was resolved.

The header is rendered properly.

I also see other canditates for such a change but not sure the implications of this change.
