approver of hr case cannot see variable details on esc portal

Hello,
I have a HR service, where I am generating an approval for the subject person's manager through workflow. The record producer has bunch of variables. When the request is submitted, the HR case gets generated as expected with an approval.
The approver user has sn_hr_core.basic and approver role. When this approver looks at the task on esc portal he cannot see the details of variables submitted anywhere on esc portal (the way subject person can see it in Additional details tab). please see screenshot below.

Why Additional details tab is not visible to approvers? How can we make it visible to the approvers? Is this OOB setup? If yes, how can we make these variables visible on esc for approvers.

The easiest solution is to add the "Description" of the case to the approval's to-do configuration. You can do this from Employee Center > To-dos Configuration. Open the appropriate record for approvals. The "Detail row" tab is where you can control what information is visible to the user.

This is the before query BR that is causing this issue sys_id= d382e6a1c3502200b599b4ad81d3aeff. You can test it by desactivating the BR. If the issue is resolved you can then confirm the root cause, you have to copy the BR and customizate it and desactivate the OOB one...
