Error Message on Read operation on table 'sn_hr_core_case_operations' from scope 'Global' was denied

Hi, 

 

Below are the error steps.

1. Create HRIT Operations Case
2. Open the created case and display the Audit History tab by right-clicking Configure > Related Lists.
3. Right-click the upper part and execute Export > PDF (Portrait)
4. When I reload the page I get the following error

From the error content, try the contents of the following article

Read operation on table 'hr_profile' from scope 'Change Management - CAB Workbench' was denied - Sup...

 

1. Set Scope to Global

2. Click System Applications > Application Cross-Scope Access

3. Set the following

Application: Global Autofill
Source Scope: Global Autofill

  • Target Name: "Name of the Table which needs access" →'sn_hr_core_case_operations
  • Target Type: Table 
  • Target Scope :Human Resources: Core.
  • Operation: Read 
  • Status: Allowed 
  • Submit the record.

 

↓ I get an error that Global cannot be specified as Cross scope privilege source scope

Could you please tell me how to resolve the error?

Hi,

I manually registered the Application Restricted Caller Access as shown in the attached file and the error no longer appeared.

So I could resolved it myself.

Hi @mtymytk ,

 

1. Navigate to All -> System Applications -> Application Cross-Scope Access

2. Click on new button to create a new record.

3. Once the form is opened, change the application from Application Picker in header to "Human Resources: Core"

4. Now fill the form with values like the one shown below.

Hi @mtymytk ,

 

You'll be looking for the Application Restricted Caller Access list.  Open that and you'll need to find the the relevant item (sn_hr_core_case_operations) that is causing the restriction and you'll need to change the state to Allowed.

It was not on the Application Restricted Caller Access list either.
