Flag similar to VIP - HR Case

Hey SN - trying to grab a little help (probably something easy I am missing)...

I am trying to, for the most part, copy what the VIP flag client script does - but with a different field and different color (to start).

Here is what I have thus far:

The icon part will most likely come out OR be changed so something else later.. But, my main part right now is that I want to flag the user as a different color. But, the color is not showing up at all - just the icon.

Is there another part to this I am missing?

Any help would be great - it's the end of the day when I am trying this, so, it very well may be something so simple and I am overlooking it.

Welp - I thought it was going to be something silly, and sure enough it turned out to be, something silly...

Order field is not normally on my client script forms. I added it one (after reading another post), and gave my scripts an order. Because we have two for VIP on both Requestor and Subject Person, and then two for my flag on both of those fields also.

Now my color is sticking like I need it to be.

I don't think it would be conflicting - since they are both looking at different fields to be True/False. But just as a measure, I made the Highlight VIP Subject Person inactive as a test, and mine is still not working.

But I am noticing, when I change the name on the case form in those fields, and then change it back to my own (I am testing using myself as being flagged), the name changes to the color I have defined in the script, but then changes back to black.

I am wondering if there is something overriding it, however, not really sure what that would/could be.

Hey Michael,

So I found some information as well as a post that may help, but I am still having trouble. First, the info I found within the Community is stating that the 'Field Styles' only go towards the list view. So, I did get that to work correcting - within the list view, I got it to show an Orange Circle with the name of the user.. 

Next, I found from another post, to try and use the Incident VIP Caller Client Script as an example. I tried to change accordingly for me, being in HR Scoped App. Are you able to check these out and tell me where / what is going wrong?
