Generate Document and attach it to HR Case

Hi,

 

We have a requirement to generate documents from HR Document templates and attach it to the HR Case. Can someone please guide us on achieving this.

there is a case option "Automatically Create Draft Document"

you can use Document Templates for this as HR Document templates is being deprecated from Yokohama

Hi @sreekeerthi ,
First of HR Document Template is being depreciate in Yokohama release.
As a best way to do that you can use Document Template that provides latest experience of the functionality.
Steps:
1.You have to activate Employee Document Management & Document Template plugins in your instance.
2. You can use OOB template, or you can create own document template.
3. In HR Service case option, you can select "Automatically Create Draft Document" it will create document task automatically, or else if you do not select that choice agent can select document template from HR case from itself. Once case status in wip, "Preview Document" button will be appeared. Once click, Document task will be created also.

I am trying to replace some old HR Document Templates, which are included as Service Activities on the HR Service, with Document Templates. However, there doesn't seem to be a way to add a Document Task as a Service Activity. Has anyone figured out how to do this? 

Hi @irene_mascari The document tasks are not configured as service activities. The Document Task functionality is a different set of records and those tasks are configured on the Document, not as service activities. I hope this helps.
