Grant access to an HR Task for an external vendor to work on and update the comments for HR Task

How can we grant access for an external vendor to servicenow? The vendor must have access to only an HR Task to work on and update revelant comments for HR Task and restrict access to all others. Is this possible in ServiceNow?

Hi @Ashmiya ,

NO !! You cannot grant access to external employees.

HRSD module is a scoped application and its for the organization's internal employees only.

Thanks for your reply. Just to confirm if anyone within the organization where those users are not HR/ someone who doesn't have a user profile or HR profile in servicenow . Will granting accessing to a particular HR task work?

We used HR contact (sn_hr_core_contact) for external HR user tracking.

1) Search Employee

2) Search External user
