How to grant the Global Text Search funcionality to a user?

Hi everyone,

I want the users to be able to use the Global Text Search functionality but only it without being granted extra permissions.

I know there is a role 'text_search_admin' that gives the user that functionality, but also gives the user the ability to customize Global Text Search groups and tables .

What does that mean? And is there another role that can give that functionality without extra permissions?

OOTB , it is available for these roles:

I guess this is only way by giving extra permission.

Hi,

I know it... the other question I have is... if you give the ITIL role, how would it grant the global text search feature? Is it trough ACL's?

Sorry, I am not sure about this , but my understanding say, this property has some connection with ACL. I just checked in PDI and found fee ACL

I also found that.

I created a role and added it to the property but it still doesn't appear the Global Text funcionality
