How to map custom dropdown field value to record field in HR case creation page in HR agent workspac

Hi Experts,

 

I have a requirement to add a custom choice field to the HR Case table, and this field should be available on the case creation page in the new Configurable HR Agent Workspace. When a user selects a value for this field during case creation in the workspace, the selected value should be mapped to the corresponding custom choice field on the HR Case record.

So far, I have created a dropdown component and populated it with the choices from the custom field on the HR Case table using a data resource and data binding. However, the issue is that when a user selects a value and creates an HR Case, the selected value is not being mapped to the custom choice field in the HR Case record.

could you please help me solve this issue

@vajgsgc 

I believe for that you will require to update some OOTB script include which will map the fields from case creation to target HR case.

try searching which script does that
