Hello,
I need to create a HR service and catalog item(record producer).
Now, I will create HR service using HR core scope app. I saw a documentation from ServiceNow that I can use the magnifying glass button in HR service form to create record producer. The problem here is, I believed that the record producer from HR Service should be created under HR Service Portal scope app.
What is the best practice?

Hi Dante, From what I can gather, best practice would be to use the HR Service Portal scope for the record producers (although they still appear to function under HR Core as well).

Hi Dante,
We have record producers created in both scopes as a result of multiple developers working on these for our initial go live. We have not experienced any issues with how they function being in different scopes. I have continued to build new record producers in the HR Portal scope, since the majority were already in that scope.
I have found, however, that the HR Templates are only in HR Core, so it forces me to create update sets for both scopes whenever I create new record producers. Keep in mind, also that the variables in your record producer need to be in the same scope.
