HR Knowledge Base Not Appearing in ESC Pro Portal

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to implement the HR Knowledge Base in the ESC Pro portal for a client. I’ve already added HR catalog items, and now I want to integrate the knowledge base as well.

I’ve added the knowledge base to the portal and configured the search resources, but nothing from the HR Knowledge Base is appearing in the portal search results.

Interestingly, I tested the same configuration in my PDI, and it worked perfectly.

Has anyone encountered this issue before or has any idea what might be causing it?

First, silly question out of the way. Is the client's portal using AI Search or Zing Search?

 

I am asking that because from the Portal record form you have the Knowledge Bases to add from there. This would be for the Zing Search functionality.

But if their portal is using AI Search, then putting Knowledge Bases in that tab would not matter, and it needs to be configured through the AI Search module.

 

If you are using AI Search functionality, after you have configured the search sources, etc., you may need to index the knowledge tables again so that the AI Search picks up any changes.

 

Continuing with the AI Search side of things, have you checked on the Search Profile being used, and the Search Source condition? Making sure all of that is published and matches with the base you are trying to grab articles from?

Again, all those screenshots are dealing with AI Search.

 

If you could, possibly share some screenshots of the places you have gone to configure your knowledge search.

Maybe something overlooked.
