All of the HR Services have 'Show case to subject person' as false. In this scenario we'll call the users Joe Manager and Joe Employee.
Joe Manager opened the case for Joe Employee. Joe Employee is the Opened for and the Subject person.
Joe Employee has the sn_hr_core.basic role because he works other HR cases. In native Joe Employee can see that case that Joe Manager opened for him. I don't want Joe Employee to see that case because he is the Subject person. What can be done to fix this?

Hey leahdany,
I recently built a COE for our Employee Relations team. We needed something similar to what you are trying to do. They wanted to make sure anyone withing the Employee Relations assignment group(s), could not see a case where they were the subject person.
I did this for an ACL:
Not sure if this is the exact answer - but maybe get you start if it isn't.

Hey Rob,
Thanks for your reply. I will definitely keep this in mind and mark it as correct if the supposed OOB functionality that doesn't allow the subject person to view the case is correct. Supposedly OOB if the opened_for is not the same as the subject_person the subject person should not be able to see the case unless you add them to the watch list. I'll be testing that out in the next few days. If that isn't how it works I'll be back here to use your ACL and mark it as correct.
