I want to hide ( disable ) chat option in the header menu. But conversation should be needed at the bottom of the page in employee service centre.

Hi
To deactivate a Head Menu please follow below steps,
1. Locate Service Portal page
2. Open Main Menu page
3. You will see Menu Items(Head Menus)
4. Make active as false.
1. Locate Service Portal page
Navigate to Service Portal --> Portals, Open your current active Service portal Page(Green dot).
2. Open Main page
3. Menu Items
Deactivate the chat.
Thanks,
Abdul

I believe you are asking about the ESC portal.
Just now checked in my PDI and the Chat is appearing based on the Theme i.e, Esc Theme which is there in the Employee Service Center record.
If you open the theme you will see the ESC header.
In that ESC header record
In html content at last you can see the see the Chat icon code.
if you want to modify you can clone the widget and modify yours accordingly.
But I don't recommend this.
Note: You can change the theme to any other theme, then you cannot see the whole header.
Thanks,
Murthy

Thanks Murthy..
I have tried to cloning widget and modified it, am getting couple of errors in ESC portal.
Also, just need to hide CHAT option in the header, not to disable the functionality of the Virtual agent conversation, which is showing at the bottom chat bubble icon.
Please assist me to achieve it.

@Rathika
Yes even I was faced errors while cloning the widget.
So I would recommended just to change the theme to any other one.
Ex: La Jolla
If you change the theme to another one, other than ESC theme, In that case you cannot see the Chat icon.
But the functionality of the Virtual agent conversation, will appear at the bottom chat bubble icon.
Thanks,
Murthy
