I have a requirement that employees should enter the training attended as an entry that gets approved by their line managers and then gets accumulated into table which can be used for reporting etc.
How should I proceed with the Request
Do I have to create a scoped application
Can you help me in brief to know what approach I have to take to get the fulfilled.

Hi @Raj23,
There is OOTB application for Skill Management, you can utilize that with some custom process.
Explore this module first, i dont think you need any custom scope app.

Hi @Raj23,
if your company has the enterprise license I would recommend you to have a look at learning posts. There is some standard integrations available to some common LMS, giving managers and employees good insights of the trainings/learning completed.

@Raj23 do you have HRSD implemented? Are you looking for a solution to this using HRSD?

Hi @Raj23 , given you have HRSD I would recommend looking into some of the out of the box options before jumping into building a custom app. As pointed out by @Markus Nilsson there are Learning Posts designed for this type of thing. If they don't match your use case, you may want to look at an HR Service where employees can log training they've done (you can use service activities for approvals, HR Tasks etc.). If the training is specific, worth looking into skills management as well as this might also line up with your use case.
