Journey configuration - Whats the best way to trigger a Journey

Hi Experts,

 

I'm working on Employee Journey Management Implementation.

And I like to understand what are the ways a journey can be triggered?

In all the demo videos,  I saw manager manually triggering a Journey from the employee centre.

 

However, we are not looking for manual triggers. Also, we may not have the user profile/HR profile, in ServiceNow immediately after the candidate sign the offer. But we will need to start a journey as soon as a candidate sign a offer letter.

I would like to understand real time best practices/ implementation guide on employee onboarding or new hire journey. Thanks
