Latest Assigned to tasks to be shown on employee center home page

Need to show 5 recent tasks (Approvals/HR tasks associated with HR Case and 5 recent Requests (HR Cases - from my_requests page) in the below format on employee center homepage in a 6*6 container. Can someone pls help me what's the best approach to do this and how?
