Dear Community,
I have a question regarding the notification created by a Lifecycle event.
I followed the steps described here: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/newyork-hr-service-delivery/page/product/human-resources/task/configure-hr-lifecycle-event-activity.html#configure-lifecycle-event-activity-notification
and it worked until yesterday morning 🙂 After that, something happened and I am not able to find out where the error came from:(
the selected email template is not shown but there is one selected. Even if it looks weird, it had already been working.
If you can help me and tell me where my error could be, I would be really happy.
Thank you very much,
Max

Hey guys,
I was now able to clarify the problem little bit more (at least I think so).
If I use the HR Service for the notification and put the record Producer in the appropriate field then I think this is the right selection.
Additionally, an employee should get the task to sign a document. For the Lifecycle Event Activity Type, I choose "Fulfiller" and "HR Service" for the Fulfiller Activity. Further, as already mentioned, the record producer cannot be used for this HR Service again because it is already used by the HR Service for the notification (see above).
The problem that occurs now, is that after submitting the record producer in the service portal, the notification is sent out and the case with the appropriate task is created but not assigned to the right person (it is not assigned to anyone). After submitting, the message "No agents meet the auto-assignment criteria for HRCxxxxxxx" appears at the top of my screen. I searched a little bit for the reasons and found, that the auto assignment criteria would not be met if the location is not set. This is true, but I don't know how I can change it (except the way I also already mentioned by selecting the record producer for this HR Service but this implies again that the notification is not sent :/).
So if anyone can help me to clarify how I can send a notification and create a task that is assigned to an employee where a document can be signed would be really great. (It can not be that difficult right? 🙂 )
Thank you very much for all your thoughts and hints you already gave!
Best,
Max
