On Managed Documents - cannot see link to knowledge article

Hi Community!

So the topic is on Managed Documents - I uploaded a document through Managed Documents feature which worked. Now I'm trying to connect a document to a knowledge article. I followed the instructions in the product doc but it seems I'm not able to attach a document in Managed Documents, to a particular and existing KBA. 

 

If you look into the screenshot below, there is a field for knowledge base - but not a knowledge article. Any insights on this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

That's the expected behaviour !!

That is a bit unfortunate though as we are looking to link the document to an existing KBA, and not necessarily create a stand along KBA for this document.
