I would like to set a due date on an HR Case. We have regular back office processes that we would like to track in HR Case. Rather than using an SLA, we would like to consider using a Due Date. This could be set manually, but I would like to automatically set the due date based on the HR Service and thought I had the ability to do this using the Additional Field section of the HR Template.
I used the HR Template to configure a Due Date for the Assigned To person based on the case Created date plus 5 days. I am displaying the due date on the case form, however when I create a new case, the due date remains empty.
Is the proper function for doing this? Is this possible?
Here is what I configured on the HR template.
The Due Date field on the HR Case remains empty.

Hello @jrusso
Have you created the new case using that HR template ? If not the conditions created on that template will not auto apply on the form.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.

Thanks for the reply.
So, the Due Date is for an HR Task, is that right? And, if I display Due Date on the Case, it is only referencing the due date on the HR task? Do I have that right?

Hello @jrusso
No it's not like that.
But what I wanted to say was when you don't use a template it's configurations which you have set are not applied on current form.

Hello @jrusso,
Those configurations to inherit field values from the parent of the case including Due date so that it wont work in your case. Try flow designer to update Due date after the case created.
