Suggestions to help duplicate emails?

We have been having issues with duplicate emails sending to recipients. I found the "Ignore Duplicates" business rule and increased our email weights to be greater than 0. This has helped significantly, but some are still occurring. I believe this is because the first email has already been sent by the time the second one is created. The business rule is only looking at emails that are in "sent-ready" so both emails still send. 

Is there any change I can make to the business rule that would help alleviate this? Maybe somehow the business rule could look at "sent" emails that were sent in the last minute or 2?

Hi Rylie, It seems like your email is sending out on every single update. a Better solution is to adjust your email trigger condition.

you can try to use condition 'changes to' instead 'Is'.

Hi Rylie,

I agree with @Ahmed Drar that it would be best to review your notification conditions, as well as the recipients.  For example, is the Opened by user getting a notification defined for "opened by", but the same user is also the "Opened for" therefore getting a duplicated notification.  Validate the conditions are specific and accurate.
