Timezone in Scheduled Jobs

Hi all ,
I need to trigger a schedule job at 10 am IST , but I am not able to specify the Timezone in Timezone field .
How can I make sure that the script triggers in IST ?
Does specifying IST in Run as tz  field helps ?
Does Run as field plays any part in Timezone ?

Hey @Madhan007 -

I would check your time zone choice list: you can select the dictionary from the time zone field within the User Profile table.

 

Navigate to any user account record --> right-click on the Time Zone field and select Configure Dictionary

Then scroll down to Related List section, and from the Choices tab, within the Label field, =IST

For your system, this time zone is probably inactive.

You would need to make it active to become a choice for the time zone choice field.
