What is the bigger difference with HRSD vs HRSM? How do I understand it functionally as well technically?

But you know I am not getting the bigger picture, because ServiceNow says that Human Resource Service Delivery as the offering and it is saying to install HR Service Management application to be implemented. So, does it eventually mean that:

* HR Service Management application clubs across all offerings for HR implementation (or)

* Do we have any significant different applications along with HR SM application

* As I see the plugin now, we do not have anything says as 'HR Service Management' and only HR SD related ones; So, how do you define this HRSM, a subset of HRSD functionality? If so, how to differentiate the same?

Or, If HRSM is a practice than does it follows similar to ITSM processes?

The current application is HRSD.  It is the scoped application, and all you will see if you are newer to ServiceNow.  HRSD became available in the Jakarta release (I think - it's been awhile), so if you've been on ServiceNow since before then you may see the old non-scoped, legacy HR app, which was referred to as HR Service Management. Not all customers have migrated from the legacy HR to HRSD yet, so you will still see some community questions and info about it.  Just be careful to recognize which you are reading about.  There is still some documentation mentioning 'Service Management', even when talking about HRSD also which doesn't make it easy for some.  Try not to get too caught up in the words though.  🙂
