Access and permissions-related issues are currently managed through an incident management system. Users raise tickets for various access-related requests and issues, including:
- Access Denial or Connectivity Issues
(e.g., unable to access systems, no network connection) - Folder or File Access Requests
(e.g., shared drive or project folder access) - User, Role, or Group Access Management
(e.g., onboarding new users, modifying roles, adding/removing users from groups) - Third-Party Tool Access
(e.g., access to licensed software, external platforms, or SaaS applications)
These requests are manually reviewed, approved, and fulfilled by the IT support or infrastructure team, often involving multiple stakeholders and systems.
